Step 2: Add Trusted Sites

  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • Go to the Tools menu, then select Internet Options.
  • Go to the Security tab, then uncheck the Enable Protected Mode checkbox.
  • Select Trusted sites and then Sites.
  • Uncheck the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone checkbox.
  • Add *.backup.com, *.intuit.com, and *.intuit.net. Select Close.
  • Go to the Privacy tab, then select Sites.
  • In the Address of Website box, add the following websites: *.quickbooks.com and *.intuit.com.
  • Choose Allow each time you add the web addresses.
  • Select OK.
