We don't have an official release date for the Prime Icon Moments yet. Well, "bad" is relative here. There will be no Prime Icon Moments in FC 24. This card type is not to find in the source code since the FC 24 release. This will be the first FIFA in years that will not have Prime Icon Moments.

But EA could release another Icon promo instead, the Alternate Reality Icons. This promo is not official yet, but was spotted in the source code along with the TOTY Icons just before Team of the Year. So these leaks are trustworthy. At least, we are not shocked if we don't see Prime Icon Moments in FC 24. The TOTY Icons were such good cards, the design alone was awesome! When exactly the Alternate Realtiy Icons will be released, is still to be awaited. There have been no leaks about this yet.

Ok... it won't be that wild, as the end of the cooperation between EA and FIFA basically means that we will be buying the same football game under a different name: EA Sports FC.But there should be some changes for Ultimate Team once again.

Ultimate Team has always been legally problematic. Buying Packs with real money isn't the real issue here, however. A new court ruling from Austria shows that trading is the real problem – the possible profit from items bought with real money on an external market, is the crux of pay-to-win.

If we can no longer buy and sell players, it is much less important whether TOTY Icon Ronaldinho is packed as a tradeable or as an untradebale. EA might even have to pay some players' money back that they invested in FUT before. Admittedly, the whole thing is really just a rumor.

What makes the FUT concept illegal is not the packs itself, it's the possibility to trade with items. Transfers and thus also coins could disappear in the future – this has been speculated again and again since the start of Fut 24 Coins for sale and would also help EA in terms of legal issues.
