These are post-game bits of content that change the way legendary items work as well as remixing the content of the base game making it a replayable game that's already extremely replayable. Seasons was supported for a substantial amount times in Diablo 3, so we're hoping that they'll be an important feature in Diablo 2 Resurrected.

A game like Diablo with its solid gameplay is perfect for a service specifically designed to allow players to return to real-time games within a couple of months. While there are still cosmetic microtransactions, and the online connection is forced, it feels as if it's going to get some opposition, the juxtaposition of the loot-box-driven, negative mobile game We're hoping that this will be a breath of fresh air. Many of the players who were hooked by Immortal seemed to do so because it was a little bit of the special Diablo sauce to buy D2R Items differentiate the series from its peers thus a game that is full of it is primed to succeed.
