The story deliberately veers off course as it wanders through absurd scenarios on a meaningless road trip. Even though the movie was brief, I felt that several of the prominent exchanges and situations were just for show. There was little spark between Jamie and Marian, and their characters were uninteresting. Perhaps their love story in Drive-Away Dolls MyFlixer was conveyed more gracefully.
