On Thursday, 28th March, Canterbury Leagues Club, Belmore, will play host to a monumental musical event – "Drum Roll for Colin Burgess." This night of homage is dedicated to the recently departed Australian rock n' roll legend, Colin Burgess, renowned as AC/DC's inaugural drummer and a longstanding percussionist for the Masters Apprentices. With two Best Drummer awards in Australia and an ARIA Hall of Fame induction, Colin Burgess has left an indelible mark on the country's music scene.
A Star-Studded Lineup:
Prepare for an extraordinary gathering of musical talents as a stellar lineup, including iconic figures such as Little Pattie, Ray Burgess, Lonnie Lee, Lindy Morrison (Go-Betweens), Glenn A Baker, Ray Butler (Johnny O’Keefe Band), Martin Cilia (The Radiators), Steve Flack (Guitar Heroes), Dom O’Leary (British Invasion), and the Lost Legend Showcase, will take the stage. Together, they will celebrate Colin's life and his profound musical legacy.
A Night of Celebration and Charity:
In honor of Colin Burgess, 50% of all ticket sales revenue will be donated to the charity 'Support Act,' a foundation dedicated to assisting members of the Australian music industry during times of need.
