During Tom’s career he has focused on photography and sculpture, showing his work in New York City and in California. He has been in the field of public art since 2000, when he was commission to place Ocean Bronze sculptures for projects by Norman Foster Architects in Riyadh, Saudi Araba and for Perkins + Wills Architects in Mumbai, India. He studied art at the University of Dallas, Texas and at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. He has won awards and shown his work in both New York City and in Marin County, California. He finds ideas for his work in the natural environment along the coast of northern California and in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife Marge.
