Are mobile locksmiths in Kingston really available 24/7?

Last weekend I got locked out of my apartment around 1:30 a.m. — freezing, half-awake, standing in my slippers. I tried calling a few “24-hour” locksmiths but two didn’t even pick up. I’m wondering, are there actually locksmiths in Kingston who show up late at night? I don’t mind paying a bit more if they really come fast. Has anyone here had luck with after-hours calls?

I actually had a late-night issue too — my car door wouldn’t unlock, and I ended up calling one of the local mobile guys from this list: Locksmiths in Kingston, ON. A couple of them really do operate all night, especially the mobile emergency ones who drive out with all their tools. I learned it helps to save one or two numbers in your phone ahead of time, because not every shop answers calls after midnight.

Just reading this makes me double-check if I even have a spare key anywhere! I didn’t realize how many locksmiths in Kingston actually offer mobile help — sounds useful, especially for students or people living alone. Good to know they’re not all “office hours only.
