At 4:00 AM, your guide will pick you up from Kigali for the drive to Bwindi for Uganda gorilla trekking via Katuna border. The journey takes you through Rwanda’s rolling landscapes and into Uganda, offering views of rural life. Upon arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check in at the park headquarters, where a ranger will provide a briefing on Uganda gorilla trekking protocols. After registration, you begin the trek into the forest, following expert trackers. Uganda gorilla trekking can last from a few hours to most of the day, depending on where the gorillas are. Once located, you will spend an hour observing them.
