Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's idea for the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (also known as Shamshabad Airport) was successful. Begumpet Airport, which was then being used, was unable to handle the amount of aviation traffic as Hyderabad began to draw in foreign investment. The Chandrababu Naidu administration along with the Top TDP Leaders established a special development area and gave it the name Hyderabad Airport Development Authority to encourage the planned development of the area around the international airport (HADA). In 2003, the government of Chandrababu Naidu purchased 5,495 acres of land for the airport.
Other Infrastructure
Hyderabad Multi-Modal Transport System, whose development started in 2001, was made accessible to the general public in 2003 by the TDP Administration. Deputy Prime Minister L. K.
