The earliest reference of wooden horses for sale is from 1624, nearly 400 years ago. Decorated toy horses were being sold from some of the villages of Mora, in Sweden, as early as the first half of the 19th century. Today, Dala horses are a true symbol of Sweden and Swedish culture!

- Then, if you want your horse to have a glossy finish like traditional Dala horses, spray with clear gloss spray paint. Just make sure your horse is dry from your detailed painting beforehand.
- Afterwards, display your hand-painted horse for all to see!
