After completing her MBBS, Dr. Tiwary served in Delhi government health services for three years and further honed her skills as a junior resident at AIIMS, New Delhi. Post her post-graduation, she secured a position in the Ministry of Defence (DGAFMS), Army, as a civilian medical officer through UPSC. Dr. Tiwary has actively participated in various studies, including those related to the mental and sexual health of adolescent girls and boys, cervical cancer, and tuberculosis.
