How Can I Perform Automatic Duplex Printing?

Below are the steps that you need to perform for duplex printing without changing sides.

Step 1: First of all, you need to open the window of the printer driver setup.

Step 2: Then, you are required to set automatic duplex printing. You need to first check the checkbox of Duplex printing by going to the setup page tab and then you need to check if the Automatic option is checked.

Step 3: Choose a layout. Select a normal size, choose Scaled, or choose Fit to Page from the Page Layout list.

Step 4: Set the printing area. When you carry out duplex printing, the print area around your document will become narrower as compared to normal and you will not be able to fit the document on one page. In such a case, you need to select the option Print Area Setup and choose one of the methods and then select OK.

Step 5: Mention the side that you wish to be stapled. The side that needs to be stapled is automatically chosen from the Orientation and Page Layout settings. To change these settings, you are required to choose from another stapling side.

Step 6: Set the width of your margin. After you are done setting the width of the margin, then select OK.

Step 7: Complete the setup procedure by going to the page set up tab and then clicking on OK. Now, when you will give the print command, your printer will print on both sides of the paper.
