Reliance Financial was established in 2004. While we had a good start in developing a customer-focused mortgage firm, we did not avoid the most severe financial crisis of our time. Our industry, mortgage lending, took a direct impact at the start of 2008. Foreclosures caused the loss of six million houses in the United States. Hundreds of lenders and thousands of practitioners shuttered their doors or left the sector.
