Why is Hotmail Blocking Incoming?

To resolve the issue, check your spam/junk folder, review your blocked senders list, and ensure your mailbox isn’t full.

Hotmail may block incoming emails for several reasons:

Spam Filters: If Hotmail's spam filters identify an incoming email as spam, it may be blocked or sent to the Junk folder. This could happen if the sender's IP address is on a blacklist or if the email contains suspicious content.

Blocked Senders: If the sender's email address or domain is on your blocked senders list, Hotmail will prevent their emails from reaching your inbox.

Email Rules: If you’ve set up specific rules in your account that inadvertently direct certain emails to be deleted or moved to another folder, you might not see them in your inbox.

Server Issues: Temporary issues with Hotmail’s servers or the sender's email server could cause delays or block incoming emails.

Mailbox Full: If your Hotmail mailbox is full, new emails might be blocked until you free up some space.

Account Security: Suspicious activity on your account might trigger security measures that block certain incoming emails as a precaution.

To resolve the issue, check your spam/junk folder, review your blocked senders list, and ensure your mailbox isn’t full. Adjust your email rules if necessary, and contact Hotmail support if Hotmail not Working
