SOD (Super Oxide Dismutase)

WHAT IS SOD?
SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE, or SOD for short, is considered one of the most important antioxidant enzymes that are synthesized inside the body. Foods rich in superoxide dismutase include; cabbage, peas, broccoli, spinach, honeydew, and cantaloupe. SOD makes up the front line of defence against reactive oxygen species that threaten to cause cellular damage to the body’s tissues and organs.
